Raymond Cauchetier’s Nouvelle Vague Photos

As part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Jean-Luc Godard‘s ground-breaking  movie, A Bout de Souffle, one of the first to be considered the Nouvelle Vague or “New Wave” of French Cinema, the James Hyman Gallery in London will be showing a selection of photos by Raymond Cauchetier. The works include location shots of Godard, Jean Seberg and Belmondo in Breathless, as well as François Truffaut filming Jules and Jim and Anouk Aimée in Jacques Demy‘s Lola. Many of the photos on display are being shown for the first time.

The exhibition will run from 14.07.2010 – 28.08.2010 at the James Hyman Gallery – 5 SAVILE ROW, LONDON W1S 3PD – http://www.jameshymangallery.com/
