Free audiobook – A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

Scrooge's third visitor, from Charles Dickens:...

If you’ve seen the new animated movie of Dickens’ classic novel (or any of the other versions), you might be interested in the original Christmas Carol. But rather than read the whole book, you might prefer to listen to it. If so, you’re in luck, because the site Learn Out Loud, which specialises in audio and video downloads, is giving away the audiobook during the month of December (so hurry and get yours!)

From the download page, you need to add the item to your shopping cart as if it were a normal purchase, then create a free account with the site. However, the book is free and once you have an account, you’ll be able to access other free offers the site provides.

If you’d prefer to read the original text or use it to follow along, you can find it here.

The sentence “Darkness is cheap…” is good, very short and explains very well the Scrooge’s character.

    Interesting this audio book.
