Christmas videos

A few of the best from around the web for those “quiet” moments before the party gets going 😉

First of all, an animated Christmas greeting made for the Verve Jazz record label, to the sounds of Ella Fitzgerald singing Sleigh Ride – you can listen to the complete song here at Last FM.

The next one is Alma, by Rodrigo Blaas from Granada. It’s a beautiful animated short with a rather surprising ending. It has won several awards this year and you can see why. More information on the film can be found at the official website. (Watch it widescreen for the best experience!)

From the sublime to the almost ridiculous – Porky Pig sings Blue Christmas. I don’t know where this recording comes from, but it does sound like Mel Blanc, the man who put voices to almost all of the Warner Brothers cartoon characters for many years. In any case, it’s a lot of fun!

Other videos you might like to take a look at are Santa Claus being interrogated by Jack Bauer of 24 and the Literal Version of Wham’s Last Christmas (the lyrics describe the action in the video).

Don’t forget you can find more videos down at the bottom of the right column in the Vodpod player.

We’ll be back in a couple of days with some suggestions for you to get out and about after the “marathon”!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM EXIT LANGUAGES!

Strange Random Christmas quote:
“I once bought my kids a set of batteries for Christmas with a note on it saying, toys not included.” – Bernard Manning
