Send a personalised e-card!

We found this site through a comment on Siegfried’s blog and thought we’d pass on the link.

At SomeECards, you can make your own card from a collection of mostly antique pictures and old clip-art, with a personal comment. As you can see from the example (left), any excuse is valid to send someone a card and many of the new ones are reflections on topics in the news 🙂

To start making your own masterpiece, click on the CREATE YOUR OWN link and you’ll see a random picture like this:

The menus above and below the picture let you change the category, background colour and picture and then all you need to do is add the text. To save  and send your creation, you’ll need to sign up for a free account. After that, the possibilities are endless … you can even put your card on a T-Shirt, mug or magnet and give it to someone for Christmas!

Someecards.com is possibly to probably the best site on the Web for free, funny ecards. We have greeting cards for every occasion – from important to utterly pointless. Send greetings for apology, birthday, baby, breakup, congratulations, encouragement, farewell, flirting, friendship, get well, sympathy, thanks, thinking of you, wedding, workplace, and holidays like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We suggest you e-mail them to friends, family, coworkers, loved ones, liked ones, and anyone else with fingers.

Finally, if you needed more inspiration, here are a couple more of our favourites:
